| Stainless Steel Balls
BALCO INDUSTRIES
stainless steels offer excellent corrosion resistance in
organic, acid, industrial and marine environments. The
non-magnetic properties combined with exceptionally high
toughness at all temperatures make these steels an
excellent selection for many applications. AISI 304
stainless steel offers superior corrosion resistance due
to the higher nickel and molybdenum content.

- General
Information
Type
18-8 stainless Steel Balls are used when conditions
qualities and toughness of material not available in harden able
stainless. Its principal application is in the
value and related fields.
- Material
Characteristics
Extreme
toughness, low magnetic permeability, high tensile
strength at elevated temperatures and resistance to
scaling. This material work hardens quite rapidly. All
balls of this material are passivated.
- Hardness
Annealed Rockwell B-75 to 95 measured on parallel flat.
Not annealed Rockwell C039 maximum meadured on parallel
flats.
